Warranty Policy

Questions? Contact Founding Athletics at support@foundingathletics.com or +1 616 577 7968.

This Warranty Policy applies together with our Return Policy, Shipping & Delivery Policy, Terms of Service, and product-specific terms.

1. Manufacturer Warranties

Manufacturer warranties vary by brand and product.

Warranty coverage, exclusions, claim procedures, labor coverage, replacement parts availability, remedy options, and warranty duration are determined by the manufacturer unless otherwise stated in writing.

Founding Athletics does not create manufacturer warranties and does not control manufacturer warranty decisions.

2. Freight Damage vs Warranty Claims

Freight damage is not a warranty claim.

Damage visible at delivery or discovered shortly after delivery must be reported according to the Freight Damage procedures in the Return Policy.

Manufacturer defects arising from normal permitted use after delivery may qualify for manufacturer warranty coverage.

3. Warranty Exclusions

Warranty coverage generally does not apply to:

  • Improper installation

  • Misuse

  • Abuse

  • Unauthorized modification

  • Improper maintenance

  • Customer-caused damage

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Environmental damage

  • Improper electrical setup

  • Improper storage

  • Use contrary to manufacturer instructions

  • Commercial use where not approved

  • Institutional use where not approved

  • Rental use where not approved

  • Non-residential use where prohibited

Products used in commercial, institutional, rental, or non-residential environments may have different warranty coverage or may void manufacturer warranties unless expressly stated otherwise on the product page or manufacturer warranty documentation.

4. Compatibility & Usage Responsibility

Customers are responsible for verifying before purchase and installation:

  • Product compatibility

  • Intended use

  • User weight or capacity limits

  • Electrical compatibility

  • Clearance requirements

  • Flooring requirements

  • Installation suitability

  • Site preparation requirements

  • Applicable safety requirements

Returns or issues caused by failure to verify compatibility, dimensions, access, installation requirements, or suitability may be treated as buyer’s remorse returns or customer-caused issues.

5. Warranty Assistance

Founding Athletics may assist customers with warranty claims where reasonably possible.

However:

  • Final warranty approval is determined by the manufacturer

  • Repair authorization may be determined by the manufacturer

  • Replacement part approval may be determined by the manufacturer

  • Labor coverage may vary or may not be included

  • Shipping coverage for parts or replacements may vary

  • Warranty remedies may vary by manufacturer

Customers may be required to provide photos, videos, proof of purchase, serial numbers, product labels, installation details, or other documentation requested by the manufacturer.

6. Safety & Assumption of Risk

Fitness equipment, training equipment, recovery equipment, and related products may carry inherent risks of injury, property damage, or death if used, installed, assembled, or maintained improperly.

Customers are responsible for reading and following all manufacturer instructions, warnings, manuals, safety guidelines, maintenance requirements, and usage limitations.

Customers assume all risks associated with improper use, misuse, improper installation, unauthorized modification, failure to maintain equipment, or use contrary to manufacturer instructions.

Consult a qualified physician before beginning any exercise, training, recovery, or fitness program, especially if you have medical conditions, injuries, or concerns.

Professional installation is strongly recommended for products involving electrical components, structural mounting, heavy equipment, or complex assembly.
